The area boasts almost 3,000 acres of skiable terrain and 18 lifts to access it. Steamboat is also recognized as producing more Olympians than any other place in North America.
Nestled just outside of Los Alamos and Sante Fe, New Mexico, Pajarito Mountain Ski Area offers incredible views of the Rio Grande Valley along with 300 acres of skiable terrain. The area is most famous for its superb tree skiing and the slopes remain relatively uncrowded so you won’t have to worry about long lift lines.
Northern Michigan’s premier ski resort, Boyne Mountain offers 60 runs across more than 400 acres. The resort also boasts seven terrain parks and the longest ski run in Michigan at 1.25 miles. For added fun off the slopes, Boyne Mountain features ice skating, horseback riding, ziplining, and a host of other activities.
