The runs are rated at 50% expert, 40% intermediate and 10% beginner. The majority of intermediate terrain can be found on Apres Vous Mountain while Rendezvous has a more advanced terrain. The thrill-seeking Rendezvous Mountain is primarily made up of bowls, glades and chutes with over 4,100 feet of vertical drops that are daring to even the most advanced skiers.
What sets Jackson Hole aside from other ski resorts is not the difficulty in their marked terrain but in the backcountry terrain that’s found off-piste, or out of bounds. At Jackson Hole, there are a many hidden trails and runs that are accessible through marked gates. In 2008, Jackson Hole opened a new aerial tram that rises to a staggering elevation of 10,450- feet.
