But a massive uprising brought it back with a vengeance. However, it is a mecca for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing with 84 miles of trails. Not to mention, tubing and family-friendly activities make it the perfect mountain to teach the kids.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dodgeridge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Dodge Ridge Ski Area<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dodgeridge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Dodge Ridge Ski Area<\/a> is the closest location for Bay Area residents to get out of the city and take in the fresh mountain air. A straight shot down the highway lands skiers among 60 trails of fresh powder.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.northstarcalifornia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Northstar Ski Resort<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Where adventure meets luxury, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.northstarcalifornia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Northstar Ski Resort<\/a> is the only resort in Northern California with five-star ski-in, ski-out lodging.
